I AM SUPPOSED TO PHOTOGRAPH A GIRL FRIEND OF MINE BUT APPARENTLY SHE'S BUSY SO I DECIDED TO PHOTOGRAPH SOMEONE CLOSE TO MY HEART. I ASKED HIM IF HE CAN HELP ME WITH MY FINAL PROJECT AND HE SAID YES.

SINCE MY CHILDHOOD YEARS, I AM ALWAYS STUNNED BY WATER FOUNTAINS. IT SHOWS LOTS OF MEANING TO ME, LIKE IT IS ONE'S LIFE THAT WHEN THE WATER IS IN THE TOP IT MEANS ONE'S SUCCESS AND VICE-VERSA. I LOVE TO HEAR THE SOUNDS OF THE WATER, SPLASHING EVERYWHERE. UNTIL NOW, I DREAM TO HAVE A WATER FOUNTAIN IN OUR HOUSE. IT'S SOMETHING VERY SENTIMENTAL TO ME BECAUSE IT GIVES ME HAPPINESS AND REFRESHMENT WHEN I SEE IT.

BALLET MANILA + STAR CITY :))

WE WERE ASKED TO GO TO ALIW THEATER AND WATCH BALLET MANILA FOR OUR ART APPRECIATION SUBJECT, TAKING OF PICTURES IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE BUT WHEN LISA MACUJA PERFORMED, I JUST CAN'T HELP BUT TO TAKE A SNAPSHOT ON HER. I AM SO AMAZED WITH THEIR PERFORMANCE, IT IS REALLY SOMETHING NOT ALL OF US CAN DO, IT'S A TALENT INDEED! SO HERE  ARE SOME OF THE PHOTOS:

SO LUCKY THAT WE CAN EXCHANGE THE BALLET MANILA TICKETS FOR A RIDE ALL YOU CAN TICKETS OF STAR CITY, AND I REALLY WENT BACK TO STAR CITY TO USE THE TICKET AND HAVE FUN INSIDE, AND I ALSO TOOK SOME PICTURES OF ART INSIDE.

 I am so amazed everytime I get to see paintings because I admire those people who paint. Painting i one of my weaknesses, I don't have talent of painting or drawing, my artwork always ends up with a messy picture. Painting is one of Philippine art for it is made by a Filipino and it expresses one's feelings, emotions, hidden desire and meaning. It is somewhat bizarre and sentimental.

THE MOVIE :BLADE

WE HAD A CHANCE TO WATCH A MOVIE AT THE AUDIO VISUAL ROOM FOR OUR SUBJECT ART APPRECIATION AND THE LIBRARIAN WHO IS IN CHARGE GAVE US THE DVD COPY OF BLADE. IT IS A 1998 VAMPIRE ACTION FILM LED BY WESLEY SNIPES. THE MOVIE STARTS WHEN A WOMAN DIED WHEN GIVING BIRTH TO HIS BABY BOY WHO IS BLADE (WESLEY SNIPES). ON THE PRESENT TIME, BLADE FOUGHT FOR THE HUMANS WHO IS TO BE VICTIMIZED IN A PRIVATE DANCE CLUB MANAGED BY A GROUP OF VAMPIRES.

ABRAHAM WHISTLER(KRIS KRISTOFFERSON) REVEALED THAT BLADE IS A DAYWALKER, A UNIQUE HUMAN-VAMPIRE HYBRID WHO HAS THE STRENGTHS OF A VAMPIRE BUT NOT THEIR WEAKNESSES. ON THE CLIMAX OF THE MOVIE, BLADE PROMISED REVENGE AND ARMS HIMSELF FOR A FINAL ATTACK TO THE VAMPIRES BUT BLADE WAS CAUGHT BY DEACON FROST(STEPHEN DORFF). FROST  TOLD BLADE THE TRUTH THAT IS MOTHER IS ALIVE AS A VAMPIRE AND FROST'S MISTRESS. AT THE END OF THE MOVIE, BLADE KILLED HER MOTHER BUT HE WON THE FIGHT OVER FROST. HE CONTINUE TO BE A DAYWALKER TO BE ABLE TO HUNT AND KILL VAMPIRES.

EVERYTHING IN THE MOVIE HAS ART, FROM THE CHARACTER'S COSTUME, THEIR SKILLS AND ACTIONS, AND THE MOVIE'S ANIMATION. THE MOVIE ITSELF IS AN ART!

FIELD TRIP FOR ART APPRECIATION

I HAD A GOOD CHOICE OF TAKING ART APPRECIATION IN ADVANCE, MERELY BECAUSE OUR SUBJECT HAS A FIELD TRIP. I THOUGHT AT FIRST THAT ONLY TOURISM STUDENTS IN COLLEGE LEVEL HAS A FIELD TRIP OR TOUR OUTSIDE OF THE CAMPUS BECAUSE FIELD TRIPS ARE USUALLY FOR SECONDARY LEVEL. WE HAD OUR EDUCATIONAL TRIP AT INTRAMUROS MANILA ON WHICH WE ARE TO TAKE PICTURES WITH THE HISTORICAL SIGHTS THERE.

BEAUTY AND UGLY

BEAUTY AND UGLY IS A COMPARISON WITH REGARDS TO ANYTHING THAT SOMETHING TO DO WITH OUR SENSE OF SIGHT OR SENSE OF FEELINGS. HONESTLY, WHEN WE SAY "BEAUTY AND UGLINESS" , THE FIRST THING THAT COMES IN OUR MIND IS WHAT WE SEE, OR THE PHYSICAL APPEARANCE OF A PERSON, BUT IN THIS BLOG, I WANT MY READER TO TAKE A LOOK WITH THE INNER BEAUTY AND UGLINESS OF A PERSON. WITH MY OPINION, I DO AGREE THAT BEAUTY SHOULD START FROM WITHIN. IT EXPRESS THE CHARACTERISTIC OF ONE'S PERSONALITY, INTELLIGENCE AND BEHAVIOR.

HOWEVER, I EMPHASIZE UGLINESS TO AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS PHYSICALLY ATTRACTIVE BUT MENTALLY OR SPIRITUALLY UNATTRACTIVE. UGLINESS IS NOT ALL ABOUT HOW A PERSON LOOKS, SOME ARE BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE, BUT THE TRUTH IS THEY ARE MEAN AND RUDE WHEN YOU GET TO KNOW THEM AND THERE ARE THOSE UNLIKABLE ONE'S WITH THEIR LOOKS BUT THEY HAVE A THOUGHTFUL HEART THAT IS MUCH WORTH IT THAT ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD.

SADLY TO SAY THAT BEAUTY AND UGLINESS POSSESS A COMPARISON TO OUR SOCIETY TODAY, AND THERE IT SHOWS DISCRIMINATION, BECAUSE MOST OF US LOOK UNFAIRLY TO OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS.

          I am a movie lover and if I had a free time, definitely I'd  watch a movie with my love ones. I have my top 5 favorite movies, these are the movies that touched me, merely because I'm an emotional person and if a movie catches my attention it is because of its significant story.

          First on my list is the movie "Hachiko: A Dog's Story", it its a movie about a college professor and an abandoned dog which he takes home. I am an animal hater, for this reason, I'm afraid of dogs but when I watched this movie, I somehow felt that even animals have feelings so as the dogs that were treated as 'a man's best friend'. Hachi (dog) never leaves his master (Parker) and sneaks when Parker will leave to go to his work. Hachi will follow his master and wait him patiently until he comes back. One day, Parker felt a heart attack while teaching and cause his death. Hachi still waits for Parker at the train station for a years and that's how close he was to his master. I like how the director possess a value of love and loyalty to a being of a dog.

            Second is "The Switch" that has a fluffy scenes that made me laugh. A story of a 40 year old woman Kassie, who's desperate to have a baby. She decided to organize an insemination party on which her best friend objected but because of his wanting to have a baby, she still continue the party and had his sperm donor. The party made Wally (best friend) drunk, he went to the restroom and saw the sperm to be inseminated in a cup, he played with it and because of being dunk, he dropped the sperm on the sink unintentionally. Because of  fear to be caught, he replaced it with his sperm. After Kassie's seven years of stay in New York, he went back with his son and bonds with Wally. He then revealed the truth, at first, Kassie got mad and didn't want to see him anymore but because of their child, the couple realized their hidden affection to each other that they never admit because of fear that they might lose their friendship. There's really no secrets that can't be revealed. In the end, they still had a happy family. It's how important friendship is to any kind of relationship.


              Third is Julia Robert's comedy-drama film "Eat Pray Love".
